'Jug Face' Included in
Special Screening Program at Slamdance

Slamdance has set its special screenings program along with the launch of
its Slam Collective collaboration program.
Slamdance, launched 18 years ago as an alternative to Sundance, has
alrady unveiled its competition lineup with 10 narrative films and eight
documentaries -- including 13 world premieres. The fest will take place Jan.
20-26 in Park City, Utah, at the Treasure Mountain Inn.
The special screenings include Dan Mirvish's drama "Between Us," based on
the Off-Broadway play and starring Taye Diggs, Melissa George, David Harbour
and Julia Stiles; the world premiere of Chad Crawford Kinkle's horror drama
"Jug Face," starring Lauren Ashley Carter, Sean Bridgers, Sean Young, Larry
Fessenden and Daniel Manche; and Philippe Caland's "Vipaka," starring Forest
Whitaker, Anthony Mackie, Mike Epps, Sanaa Lathan, Nicole Ari Parker and
Ariana Neal.
"Jug Face" was the grand prize winner of the 2011 Slamdance screenwriting
competition.
The Slam Collective features seven Slamdance filmmakers coming together
to make "I Want To Be An American," which will hold its world premiere on
Jan. 21. The directors are Dale Yudelman, Maya Newell, Dylan Verrechia, Q,
Monteith McCollum, Peter Baxter and Daniel J. Harris.
